There are many factors which lead to the irritation of our digestive system:

2.Excessive beverages like coffee

3.Foods or drinks excessively hot or cold

4.Certain use of medications like aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs like paracetamol

5.Bacterial infections like Helicobacter pylori infection which can ultimately lead to ulcers

1.Coconut Water




Coconut water is not just regular water. It is filled with goodness of minerals and vitamins like vitamin B12 which is an effective anti-inflammatory nutrient. Coconut water helps in reducing acidity of stomach.





Although, tangy coconut water should not be taken as it will alleviate acid reflux.

Drink 2-3 glasses of coconut water a day.

2.Carrot Juice



Carrot is rich in fiber and vitamin A. The fiber in carrot can help in the digestion and excretion of your daily food intake.

While, the vitamin A in carrot helps in maintaining the lining mucosa of your stomach against damage cause by inflammation of the stomach and probability of ulcer.

1 cup of carrot juice is recommended once a day.

3. Oatmeal



A sumptuous serving of a bowl of oatmeal can do wonders for your inflamed stomach lining because oats contain a good amount of fiber which aids in digestion and clearing your intestines.

It is highly recommended that oatmeal diet be given when experiencing heart burns or otherwise gastritis.

4. Potato Juice



Potato juice, first thing in the morning is one of the amazing home remedies that I have tried, and it really is life changing. I was skeptical at first because I thought how a common vegetable as such as raw potato could help my condition. Later I just took a leap of faith and here I am with no signs and symptoms of gastritis. Although when I start indulging in unhealthy foods, that’s another story. So, always take care of your yourself!

Freshly grate 2-3 pieces of potato and put it over a linen cloth, strain the juice in a glass or a container and drink immediately.
